Virtual Story Time: Navy Day

Join us as we celebrate the Navy's 245th Birthday! A downloadable printout of this week's activity can be found under the 'Downloads' section on the right side of this page. This week's books are Hero Dad by Melinda Hardin, My Hero: Military Kids Write About their Moms and Dads by Allen Appel, Surprising Facts About Being a Navy Sailor by Kristen J. Russo and Women of the US Navy: Making Waves by Sheila Griffin Llamas. To access them, follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to navymwrdigitallibrary.org
  2. Click Login
  3. Login using either a CAC card or a DS Login (using a CAC card requires a CAC card reader on your keyboard)
  4. Click OK
  5. Enter your pin when prompted
  6. Click on A to Z Directory
  7. Click on the letter O, which will take you to Overdrive
  8. Scroll down to Overdrive Digital Collection for Kids, then search for this week's book titles
