NAS Meridian MWR is proud of the many outdoor fitness areas which include:  three horseshoe pits, a 2.5 mile jogging trail, a 400m running track; an outdoor fitness multi-gym, lighted tennis courts; two basketball courts, a beach volleyball court, a multi-use field (for flag football and soccer) and two softball fields. Gear issue for these areas is located inside the fitness center.

Sonny Montgomery Fitness Center

The Sonny Montgomery Fitness Center has everything you need to meet your fitness goals! Workout at your own pace with the Fitness Center’s wide array of state-of-the-art fitness equipment, including weights, cardio machines and TRX stations, or join in on our free group exercise classes (personal training also available)! Additional amenities include indoor and outdoor basketball courts, softball fields, tennis courts, racquetball courts, indoor and beach volleyball courts, a 2.5-mile jogging trail, quarter-mile running track, men’s and women’s saunas (located in the locker rooms), a multi-use room with a family fitness area, a Wellbeats group exercise theater and an outdoor NOFFS space. The Fitness Center also hosts friendly fitness competitions and offers incentive programs to push you to be your very best!
