Hobby Shop

The Hobby Shop:

 located in Building 272 (directly behind the Library) and available by appointment only, is a newly improved workspace for authorized patrons to pursue their interests. The facility contains indoor and covered outdoor auto lifts (must be operated by MWR employees), a wide variety of tools, a wood shop with 15 primary stations and an assortment of hand tools (MWR training course required),  pottery tables, and a kiln.

All work at the Hobby Shop must be paid for in advance at the Community Recreation Complex. Cost is $5/hr for Active Duty/Dependents, $7/hr for all other authorized patrons and $2/hr for minor dependent utilizing the hobby shop with a parent (minimum age is 13). For booking and other questions, call (601) 679-3437.

 

Pottery Studio:

Instructor: Raven O'Neil

All skill levels are welcome, from novice to expert. The pottery instructor is here to help you create, learn, and have fun!

Fees: $5 per hour $1 per pound of clay.
