JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent will perform a variety of cleaning and mechanical maintenance tasks requiring light physical effort and the use of hand or lightweight power tools and cleaning equipment.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent makes minor adjustments and repairs of automated pinsetter and performs periodic preventive maintenance on equipment such as vacuuming ball cleaning machines. During operation of AP machines, answer trouble calls, such as ball returns, respotting pins, and such other malfunctions that may occur. Sweeps, dusts, and cleans Bowling Center, collects and removes trash, maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion. May sand, scrape, and condition bowling lane surfaces. Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have general knowledge and be physically capable of performing minor mechanical repairs of bowling lanes, bowling pins, etc.
  • Knowledge of various cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of the use of lightweight power tools.

 

SUPERVISORY CONTROLS

Works under the general supervision of the Bowling Center Manager.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting of light and medium objects. Works indoors in area adequately heated and lighted, is exposed to dirt, and dust.

BENEFITS

HIRING PREFERENCES
